The Ministry of Women and Child Development of India has set wide objectives that Paramekkavu College of Arts & Science is successfully working to achieve. In order to empower women, our institution aims to ensure that they receive the right education and can upgrade their skills in order to live better lives. In fact, the Women Development Cell (WDC) was founded while also keeping an eye on their security and safety. The mandate covers need-based solutions in addition to development as its primary areas of concentration.
ANTI RAGGING CELL
The institute has a well-defined framework for the prevention and eradication of ragging in accordance with the rules from the regulatory agencies, university, government, and courts. For the purpose of keeping an eye on students' actions, the institute established an anti-ragging committee. This group serves as the campus's supervisory and advising body for maintaining a ragging-free atmosphere.
We have a placement cell providing placement assisting for all competent students according to their skills, aptitude and attitude. Sreedevi Achuthan, (Department of Computer Science) is in charge of the placement cell.
THE GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL
The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) is tasked with investigating concerns brought forth by any student and resolving them as necessary. Through the complaint/suggestion box, students can express their complaints about any academic or extracurricular issue on campus. By using a complaint/suggestion box, the college hopes to address student complaints about academic and non-academic issues on campus. The college strives to address student complaints in a timely manner.
